The sun is now coming out and the fish are emerging from their winter residence! If the temperatures remain mild, we will start selling fish again at the beginning of March.

Koi are the ultimate pond fish and grow to 24” plus, displaying beautiful sleek lines and stunning colours.

It is a myth that Koi need clear water to survive. Their natural habitat is exactly the same as the original common carp and that is a muddy clay pond.However, they do require good water quality and because they eat a lot and make a mess, this is generally best achieved with good filtration.

However, they make a lovely addition to larger natural garden ponds and our koi will survive very well in this environment.
